What’s nature got to do with it?

We evolved from nature (we are animals after all) so it’s natural for outdoor environments like forests and woods to be places where we can slow down, recharge and be inspired.

Being outdoors brings different experiences, different perspective and different ways of thinking.

Research shows that time spent in forests can reduce the stress hormone cortisol and lower blood pressure – so as well as being good for our physical health, time spent in nature can help to restore emotional balance and from there we are able to access a more constructive and creative headspace to move forward.

Sarah has a love of the outdoors and is never happier than spending time out in the elements and in woods and the forest. Where ever possible she takes her coaching work outside because of the reviving and energising effect it has on her clients and the richness it adds to the coaching experience.
